Republican Lighter Fluid: Terry McAuliffe

McAuliffe represents everything that was wrong with the Democratic Party before Barack Obama broke through the wall of corporate money and backroom deal cutting McAuliffe created as DNC chair.  The national GOP would use McAuliffe's background of cutting himself in on political deals to build his personal wealth as a way of making him toxic.  They wouldn't need to lie or exaggerate and they would be quoting from the NY Times and Washington Post, not FOX News.  

The GOP would make Virginia a referendum on everything that is wrong with the Democratic Party today and try to begin a Republican comeback.  This would hurt our entire slate (Gov, Lt Gov, Atty. Gen.), our chances of taking back the House of Delegates, redistricting, the 2010 Congressional election and the re-election of Barack Obama in 2012.

• In defending his late support of Obama, McAulliffe said "Remember, I'm the chairman of the party who picked him as the keynote in '04" when it is widely known John Kerry picked Obama for the 2004 keynote.


• McAuliffe said at a recent debate "I've never attacked another Democrat" but he was the chairman of the campaign that ran the 3AM ad against Barack Obama and attacked him relentlessly for over a year.


• T-Mac claimed he gave Tim Kaine $5 million dollars from the DNC, when he only delivered half of that.


• When challenged on creating jobs in Virginia, McAulliffe said he created 5 businesses here but they were financial partnerships that had no employees.

McAuliffe can't help himself, it's in his blood.  He's a walking exaggeration with more toxic baggage than a swine flu salesman.

This amateur video below of McAuliffe's dealings with Global Crossing and Telergy and his reverse exaggeration about it can only give a glimpse of what the Republicans would do with a professional media company and $40 million dollars to spread this all over Virginia on TV, radio and direct mail. This is only one of many shady dealings McAuliffe has been directly involved in.  His real estate deals in Florida are even worse. Please make sure anyone interested in keeping Virginia Blue, sees this before the primary on June 9th.
