We are happy to be one of the blogs that is taking questions for the Virginia Tech Governor's Debate next Wednesday, April 29. This is the first netroots sponsored statewide debate in history, and this is a great chance to get your questions answered by Brian Moran, Creigh Deeds, and Terry Mcauliffe. The debate will be covered by CSPAN, so if chosen, your question and the answer to it will be televised.

Note: Please include your home city and state in your question so that the moderators can get a good regional balance.

Ask away--Leave your questions in the Comments section of this post!

I'll start it off
One of the biggest struggles in trying to make Virginia's colleges and universities more green is the up front cost of constructing green buildings. As governor, what would you do to help public schools like Virginia Tech in their attempt to convert to green energy?

Credibility
Anyone can promise higher teacher pay, better roads, cleaner air, new energy sources and more jobs. While you're at it, you could throw in ponies and ice cream for everyone.

Why should we believe your promises? What about your record gives you the credibility to put forward a workable agenda, instead of pie-in-the-sky claims you will be unable - or unwilling - to fulfill once in office?
